One Week, eeek!

It just dawned on me that Christmas is one week away, woohoo!!

We were lucky enough to have already celebrated an early Christmas with my brothers and niece! Brenden drove Alaina, Camren and Casey out here at the last minute this weekend and although the trip was insanely short, it was so great to get the chance to spend time with them. It was the first time in two years that all of us were together and Alaina's first Christmas. These are the precious moments that I hold near and dear to my heart...
Alaina had a lot of fun with Shauncey!
Gonna get ya!
Waking Uncle Casey up from his nap
Casey surprised us with his Halloween outfit
Alaina giggled at first but wasn't so sure the closer he got :)
Playing cards with Uncle Nate
And playing drums on the phone
Gabbing, gabbing, gabbing
What a beautiful baby girl!!
Trying to destroy Uncle Casey's cell phone
Most dogs Alaina has been around have been a lot bigger than Shauncey. She saw her more as a toy and loved it!
Dancing away!
Chillin with Uncle Kellyn before bedtime
Love my bros!

With all the boys together for the first time in a long time we were curious which was the tallest...
Kellyn was pretty sure he was tallest but that was just the fro... Cam won!
Time for Alaina to open her presents!

But trying to eat the paper was more interesting

Miss them already!

Much like many other people I am absolutely in love with Christmas and extra excited this year to be able to spend it at our new house :) Nate's parents will be heading out here to spend Christmas with us, arriving the 24th. We feel very blessed to be able to spend Thanksgiving and Christmas with them this year! And maybe, just maybe, Camren and Casey will be able to make it back out here later this week for some more family fun. PLEASE boys?!

So what's on the agenda for this Christmas? Baking, cooking, relaxing and seeing what DC has to offer at Christmas time. Does anyone have some yummy recipes for us to try??

  1. A quadruple-decker grilled cheese sandwich with turkey would be nice.
